Come and see Jesus.
Easter Service | 10am
In-person & Online
WHAT TO EXPECT
If attending in person, upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our team who are here to help make you feel at home. If attending online, our host will be present 10 minutes prior to the start of the service and will be happy to answer any questions you may have throughout the time.
The service will last approximately an hour. It will include music, prayer, readings from the Bible, and a sermon lasting about 20-25 minutes. At Newport, we want people to be able to worship in a language they are most familiar with so on Easter, you’ll hear both familiar Easter hymns like “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today” and more modern music like “The Goodness of God.” The team leading music up front will represent a large range of ages and will consist of a number of solo vocalists, piano, bass, drums, and guitar.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
At Newport, we have a high value of worshipping together as a whole body and that includes our kids and our youth. All ages are invited to participate in either of our services. There will be activity bags for our younger guests at the in-person service. We have worked hard at creating a worship experience that is engaging for all generations and want you to be able to worship as a family.
On Sundays other than Easter, we have an environment especially for kids in preschool up to 5th grade during the sermon.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
We want you to be comfortable and come just as you are. On Easter, many people decide to dress up a bit to take pictures with friends and family.
Experiential Stations | 6:15pm
Service | 7pm
In-person & Online
An essential part of the resurrection story is Jesus’ journey to the cross. Prior to the service, there will be a series of self-guided experiential stations that will invite you to enter into the story of the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion. Then at 7pm, we will begin our live broadcast and take time to intentionally focus on Jesus’ sacrifice.
INVITE A FRIEND
Easter is a time when people are especially looking for ways to connect in community, to feel a sense of belonging and hope. We want to encourage you to invite those you love, your neighbors, friends, and family, to join you in celebrating Easter together. We have physical invite cards available at the church building as well as the same shareable graphics below to compliment your personal invitations. We trust that the Spirit of God is already at work in the lives of those you care about and we look forward to welcoming them with you!
