Our Denomination
Newport Covenant Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church and the Pacific Northwest Conference. The Covenant Church traces its development to the revivals in the State Church of Sweden in the 19th century. Today there are about 800 Covenant churches in the United States and Canada. The Covenant was founded by Swedish immigrants in 1885 as a voluntary covenant of churches committed to working together to share the good news of Jesus Christ. For more than 100 years The Evangelical Covenant Church has been committed to a program of world mission, church growth, and Christian service.
Our Preschool
At Newport Covenant Christian Preschool, we take great pride in offering a nurturing, high quality preschool program. The preschool provides early childhood education within a Christian framework. We offer half day programs for pre-3’s through pre-Kindergarten, with additional “lunch bunch” and extended day options. For more information and to register your child, click below.
